Having said that I also loved the way the two characters were etched and their interaction in the book is something which will be there with the reader long after he or she has finished this book — the truly madly deeply faraaz kazi relationship that they share, the memories created, the ups and downs of a relationship and the pangs of that first heart-ache and what do the lovers experience.

The book tracks their lives along with their love life and the people embroiled in their story. Seema meanwhile is engaged to a distant cousin but finds the truth one day when Farha, whose conscience is acting up, confesses madlt truth to her.

I would most definitely recommend this book to one and all. Though if the poetic lines just before the protagonist goes into flashback, should have been italicised or underlined to give the reader a hint that the flashback is about to dseply.

Dec 26, Subhendu rated it did not like it. Every once in a while, when I’m feeling lazy about rewrites, I whip out this book to reassure myself that India needs me.

I’m sure that explanation sounds confusing, but it makes sense in my head right now. What can I say? Its ttuly well-written in the sense that it can be understood and yet has depth, which is probably really ideal for its target audience. The story is about the protagonist, Truly madly deeply faraaz kazi and his love for a girl named Seema from his previous school.

Read the book to experience truly madly deeply faraaz kazi of its kind first-time love story. Overall, I wish that there was a little more happiness in this novel, and a lot less moping. I loved this conversation and can re-read those lines nth time. The teenage drama coupled with a very interesting climax that comes out brilliantly because of the way the author has built up the story, make this book a true love saga.

She searches for him through the school’s auditorium and garaaz as the lights dim and as she was: I like deepply the house struggles and personal rivalries come in the middle of their relationship, with two such strong personalities as the author shows. The writing style was crisp and direct, I liked the use of non-linear structure and different point-of-views to tell the story, it added some spice to a book that might otherwise have been slightly bland.
